At the end of January, Provecta was presented with just such a challenge.
An urgent request with complex requirements
The application also placed high demands on the performance of the seal. The C-seal had to function reliably under challenging operating parameters, including:
- high temperatures
- increased pressure
- critical sealing requirements
There is no room for compromise in such applications. The seal must not only fit perfectly within the system, but also continue to function durably and reliably under extreme conditions.
From order to action
The order was officially confirmed on Wednesday afternoon. From that moment on, the production team immediately shifted into high gear.
What is normally a carefully planned production process now became a perfectly coordinated collaboration between different departments.
Precision work at an accelerated pace
Production followed in rapid succession, without compromising on quality or control.
Thursday
The manufactured seals underwent heat treatment in Provecta’s own oven. This step is essential to guarantee the correct material properties, so that the seal can withstand the extreme conditions for which it was developed.
After heat treatment, the parts were prepared for the next step: surface treatment.
Friday
On Friday morning, the order continued through the finishing department, where the seals received their final surface finish. That same afternoon, the entire order was carefully packaged and shipped to the customer.
From initial contact to delivery: just a few days.
